The merging of Great Cornard Middle and Upper schools to form Thomas Gainsborough School meant that a re-brand was required. TGS had a heritage to sustain and new aspirations moving forward, so they needed branding that would portray this message and set them apart from other schools in the catchment area.
Feedback from staff and students at TGS was taken into consideration when designing the brand. Guidelines were created to help keep their publications consistent, while maintaining a professional look and feel. Marketing materials included: school prospectus, stationery, certificates and a range of in‑house documents.
